Review by hotel critic

As a marine biologist hailing from the vibrant city of Edinburgh, I appreciate tranquil retreats that allow me to recharge after exploring the wonders of nature. During my recent city break, I sought a peaceful accommodation equipped with essential amenities, including a restaurant offering delicious local cuisine and a lovely outdoor dining area. I was thrilled to find a homestay that ticked all the boxes. The property, located just a short stroll from the bustling market and railway station, offered a serene atmosphere to unwind. Each room was spacious and elegantly appointed, providing stunning views of the lush surroundings. I delighted in the sumptuous breakfast, featuring fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. The attentive and friendly staff ensured all my needs were met, elevating my stay even further. I wholeheartedly recommend this delightful spot to anyone seeking a splendid blend of comfort and natural beauty.
